*Don't swim? Need a Swimmer for you team? Not to worry, we will provide one for you. Land-Lover individuals, and Land-Lover two person teams will compete only in the bike and run events. A designated swimmer will be provided. Land- Lover's time will not begin until the designated swimmer exits the water. Land- Lovers will only compete against other Land- Lovers.

There will be a mandatory pre-race meeting for all competitors at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday September 12th, just outside the transition area.

WARNING! This is a very strenuous athletic event. Competitors should be adequately trained and conditioned to safely compete this event. If you are sick or have not sufficiently trained for this event, you should consider withdrawing and not competing.

The race will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the waves to be determined on Wednesday prior to race day based on the number of entrants. You will be given your wave assignment at packet pick up.  

************Absolutely no vehicular traffic will be permitted in or around the transition area inside Lake Tanglewood between 9:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m. You must arrive and be parked by 9:15 a.m. or you will not be allowed to park inside Lake Tanglewood Villages. Once your car is in, you will not be able to depart the area until 12:00 noon. Exceptions only made for emergencies!!!!

Finally have a good, safe race. Let's race hard, but race friendly. Good sportsmanship is still the name of the game.
